The Ramones were an American punk rock band that formed in the New York City neighborhood of Forest Hills Queens, in 1974. Group members are Joey ramone, Johnny Ramone, Dee Dee Ramone, Tommy Ramone, Marky Ramone, Richie Ramone, Elvis Ramone and C.J Ramone. They are often cited as the first band to define the punk rock sound. Despite achieving only limited commercial success, the band was a major influence on the 1970s punk movement in both the United States and United Kingdom. Lay the foundation of this genre with simple, minimalist repetitive compositions and simple letters or even pointless, in clear opposition to the pomp and splendor of the bands that were successful in the market for 1970: April 3 with long guitar solos, complex progressive rock songs and their enigmatic letras.5 their sound is characterized by fast and direct. Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone and Dee Dee Ramone died within three years since the demise of the band, Tommy Ramone died at dawn on July 12, 2014, victim of a cancer of the bile ducts. Their concert was entertaining and fun.
